A writer's system · hand-off no. 1

Your blog runs on a pattern.
Let's hand off one piece of it.

Welcome! I am your blog assistant. I can help you get your post publish-ready without diminishing your voice.

The pattern, as you described it

your process, unchanged
  • 01
The Spark A thought hits hard enough that it pours out on its own.
  • 02
The Pour You just write it.
  • 03
The Polish Just enough — never enough to turn the volume of your voice down.
  • 04
The Visual Check Boring, repeatable, and the one stage that's about the page, not the writing. First to hand off.
  • 05
    The Send Publish.

"Not enough to decrease my voice's volume" — that line is the whole brief. Anything I take on has to leave stages 1–3 completely alone.

    The formatting desk

Paste a draft in. The formatting desk handles structure — headings, spacing, paragraph breaks, consistent style. No meaning changes. You'll see before and after side-by-side, plus tags, meta description, and a header image idea.

    1. Paste your draft on the left. 2. Click "Copy prompt for Claude." 3. Open claude.ai and paste it in. 4. Copy the formatted result back here.

    More checklist suggestions

Save a square crop of the header image for social previews.

Check the post renders cleanly in both light and dark mode, if your blog supports it.

Confirm the meta description isn't cut off in a link preview.

Give the post one scroll on your phone, start to finish, at normal reading speed.

Reading the pattern from Life Revisions

Two lanes run through the blog: Science-Based Posts, which build as deliberate multi-part series, and Personal Reflections, which are looser and always sparked by something outside your own head — a book, a headline, a mood you're naming for the first time.

Stands out — the reflections never start from a chosen topic. Every one traces back to an external trigger you happened to run into. That's your process showing through, and it's consistent across every reflection post.

Emerging — the OCD series was closed out with a "Final Post" in January, but two posts followed it anyway. And the most recent post is the first that isn't about OCD at all — it's about home and belonging, sparked by a novel. The scope looks like it's widening past the original diagnosis-journey frame.

A few topics that fall out of those patterns. Pull in what's useful, leave the rest.

Name the two lanes directly for readers — a short post on why the blog holds both a science series and loose reflections, and how they relate.

Write the actual Part II to "OCD Stereotypes: Is Media to Blame?" — it's still tagged Part I with no follow-up yet.

Pair the Finistère piece with a science-based post on place, environment, or routine — bridging the new theme back to the science lane.

Revisit "Broken Compass" six months on — same question about missing direction, checked against where things stand now.
